Incorporate both bodyweight exercises and weighted exercises to build strength. - Plyometric exercises help improve the power and explosiveness of your muscles. Include exercises like jump squats, box jumps, depth jumps, and bounding in your workout routine. - Work on your jumping technique to optimize your performance.     I've got an 8 foot standing ready and I can touch rim pretty easily just from my 285lb squat strength. At this point it feels like malpractice to not get the power for a dunkable vert.

    Yeah but you gotta also balance everything and have fun or else you wont have anyone to celebrate your achievements with. Athleticism is cool, but developing friendships and spending time with loved ones is infinitely more valuable. If your dedication is getting in the way because your friends are going to a restaurant that you “cant” eat at or you have to train at certain times, then its become an unhealthy obsession
